Physical Education
PHYSICAL EDUCATION - Classes are based on the premise that a student’s life is enhanced through participation in a comprehensive program that promotes physical fitness as well as mental, emotional, and social well-being. The program is designed to develop physically educated individuals to encourage the pursuit of lifelong activity and health. All students are required to “dress out” and participate in physical education. Individual lockers and locks are provided and may not be shared with any other students.
Although students are NOT required to purchase the uniform from Golden West Middle School, they are required to wear a standard uniform (see below). For your convenience, however, the Golden West Physical Education Department offers two options to purchase uniforms with school logos. You may view the uniform online.
1. Purchase using the following link https://linqconnect.com/SHEL57 . There is a 24-hour processing period from time of online purchase to receiving the uniform.
2. Purchase in-class during students’ physical education period with two payment options:
CHECK payable in EXACT AMOUNT ONLY to Golden West Middle School. Write student’s first and last name on bottom left corner of check.
CASH: NO $50 or $100 bills accepted.

The Department does NOT sell before school, during lunch, or after school. No exchanges or returns will be allowed once the item has been written on, worn, or washed. No exchanges or returns after 10 school days from purchase.
STANDARD UNIFORM
Shirt: A solid white short-sleeved or long-sleeved t-shirt (no logos, buttons, zippers, collars, etc.).
Shorts: Red pull-on (no logos, pockets, zippers, etc.).
Sweats: Solid gray sweatpants and sweatshirt (no logos, pockets, zippers etc.). Sweatshirt must be a pull-over.
Shoes: Rubber soles and tied shoelaces. No slip-ons, sandals, or boots.
