SOCIAL SCIENCE- World History Medieval and Early Modern times will be the focus of this course. Students will explore units of study on the fall of Rome, the Islamic world, West African civilizations, Asian civilizations, medieval Europe, renewal in Europe: Renaissance, Reformation, and Scientific Revolution, civilizations in the Americas, and the early modern world: age of exploration, enlightenment, and revolution. Students will use a variety of instructional materials and technologies. Students will also examine the factors that have contributed to our way of life. Our studies will enable students to make connections to our changing world.
